CentraState Physicians Joining Atlantic Medical Group

The staff and physicians of CentraState Healthcare System’s primary care and specialist practices will be joining Atlantic Medical Group, part of Atlantic Health System, as of June 22, 2021. This new venture will bring many additional benefits and resources to you. Atlantic Health System is one of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in New Jersey, providing a vast array of healthcare services across six award-winning hospitals and more than 400 outpatient locations.

Rest assured that the high-quality care you have come to rely on will continue with the physicians and providers that you know and trust. Here are some of the changes that are important for you to know.

Atlantic Medical Group

Beginning June 22, the practice will begin use of a new electronic health record (EHR) system and patient portal, which will be implemented across CentraState Healthcare System, beginning at the physician practices and culminating at other CentraState locations in 2022. This innovative new EHR, called Epic, will enhance efficiency and safety in care delivery by providing your physicians with your full and up-to-date medical record.
No matter where you receive care within Atlantic Health System, your medical information will travel with you, easily accessible through Epic’s MyChart patient portal. MyChart gives you convenient, secure, 24-hour access to your medical record to help you manage and receive important health information.

With MyChart, you can:
  • Communicate electronically and securely with your medical care team
  • View your upcoming and past appointments
  • Begin appointment check-ins
  • See your test results
  • Refill medications
  • And more!
You can register for a MyChart patient portal account at the time of your next appointment. Our staff will send you a registration link via a secure email. If you would like to set up a MyChart account to communicate with your care team electronically prior to your next appointment please call the office.
Patient records for appointments prior to June 22, 2021, will be available through the Patient Portal.
The registration and billing processes in our offices are changing. Please bring a form of identification (such as a driver’s license) as well as your current insurance card at the time of your next visit.

Bills after June 22, 2021 will come from Atlantic Medical Group.
